Start of construction of the house in Aroeira

Construction of the house in Aroeira is now underway, and excavation work for the basement areas has been completed. The house features a contemporary, refined and rational architectural language, inspired by the principles of the Modern Movement and the work of Louis Kahn, particularly his approach to light as a building material.

The composition is based on volumetric clarity, orthogonality and a balanced interplay between solids and voids. The white planes, window frames and metal pergolas reinforce the overall restraint, giving the house a coherent identity defined by clean lines, simple geometries and a harmonious relationship with the surrounding landscape.
