The Hidden House

The hidden house is seamlessly integrated into a steeply sloping site within Quinta da Coutada. With a substantial change in levels between the street and the lowest point of the plot, the building descends gradually, becoming nearly imperceptible from street level. Access to the residence is gained via the landscaped roof, which follows the natural slope of the land. The interplay between vegetation and architecture is evident throughout the exterior spaces, offering a distinct sense of tranquillity and well-being. The leisure area, enveloped by greenery, further amplifies this immersive experience in nature.
