Restelo House

The project involved the refurbishment and renovation of the existing house, with the primary aim of modernising the exterior finishes. Key features include the application of microcement on part of the façade, the addition of sliding wooden shutters, and the creation of a new access to the rear balcony via a helical staircase.

Due to the high level of sun exposure, the project also includes the installation of pergolas with adjustable louvres on the ground floor balconies and on the third floor, where the main suite’s balcony is located. The surrounding landscape will be completely redesigned to create pleasant and functional spaces. A standout feature is the wall that separates the swimming pool from the higher level where the house is situated, which will be clad in three-dimensional tiles.

The rear garden, offering a prime view over the mouth of the River Tagus, will also be remodelled, incorporating landscaped areas and leisure spaces. Inside, all spaces will undergo complete renovation. On the ground floor, the living room, kitchen, and staircase will be reconfigured, with a new interior design concept focused on enhancing functionality. On the second floor, all bedrooms will be refurbished, with particular attention given to the bathrooms, which will feature modern and distinctive finishes. The main suite, located on the third floor, will be entirely transformed, including a full renovation of the bathroom.

Through these interventions, the project aims to modernise and optimise the spaces, offering greater comfort and functionality both inside and outside the residence.
