Located on Meia Praia in Lagos, the 2-storey house has an area of 1000 sqm, divided into 2 floors and a housing program consisting of covered car parking, winter garden, swimming pool and a typology organization consisting of two suites in each one of the ends, 4 bedrooms to the north with bathroom and closet, office, laundry, a large living room and kitchen, cinema room, gym, laundry and outdoor barbecue area.
The architectural project was inspired by the modern movement, with simple, straight lines and in particular the modernist work of North American architects from the 50s and 60s of the 20th century. The Euclidean geometry that designs this housing is only disturbed by the surrounding nature as the rationalist conception of an architecture of perpendicular plans, reminds us of the North American houses of the architect Richard Neutra. The architecture stands out for its contemporary forms, in which the large glass surfaces allow the entry of light and an interior/exterior relationship, in which the interior space becomes exterior with the opening of the large glazed spans.
Its architecture reveals the precepts of the Modern Movement, embodied in the pure line, in the functionality of the spaces, in the wide window openings and white surfaces constituted by solids of revolution.
